WHISPER UNIVERSE Zendiva's second and newest CD "Whisper Universe" came out April 2004 and is recorded at Wistaria Studio in Yorktown by engineer Kim Person. This is a beautiful recording full of surprising sounds, melodies, rhythms, and two or three-part vocal harmonies. Zendiva's unique musical style combined with the poetic healing messages by composer Barbara Caillagh created a new genre in the musical categories: funky poetic folk-jazz. CRITTER JAM is a CHILDREN'S CD that came out in early 2001. It is Zendiva's first CD, of which 4 songs are recorded live in the Williamsburg Regional Library Theater in Williamsburg, VA. Three songs are originals written by Barbara Caillagh, including "Happy Gorilla", which is an all-time favorite of many adults. Parents report that this is the preferred CD during car trips, and it is as popular as John McCutcheon for earlier generations. Children remember the lyrics, including the interactions with the audience on this CD, from A to Z. Comes with a three-panel fold-out that contains pictures of Zendiva, and the lyrics to the songs.

"Throw out all the Barney tapes, and replace them with this CD. It is one of the few children's Cd's that I actually find myself singing too and not pulling my hair out in the process. Zendiva is a talented group of women and their children's music is wonderful."
